Celebration of Georgian Wine Culture

In late April early May in the Republic of Georgia, in its capital Tbilisi there is an annual Georgian wine celebration with numerous wine producers gathering at Mtatsminda Park and offering their brands of wine for tasting. It's a real public fest with lost of local and foreign guests attending the show, tasting various sorts of wines - white, red and rose - and buying or making deals with the wine producers. Last year over 50 thousands customers attended the show with more is expected to attend this year. It's a truly national festivities of the well-known country of wine making with lots fo vinyards scattered across the country. In fact, Georgia has been recognized as the birthplace of the winemaking dating back to 10,000 BC.
