Favorite book to read on the beach

Polly

Pristine white sand, turquoise blue water, a gentle sea breeze, and a bright sunny day—that’s what comes to mind when we think of beaches. Would you sip a Piña Colada or a Cape Codder, soak up the sun, or dive into a good book? Whatever you choose, this article is still for you!

Let’s check out a book that’s one of my favorites—and could become yours too!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid, written by Jeff Kinney, is a fantastic read if you enjoy humor, wit, and non-stop fun. It’s the perfect book to lighten the mood and take you back in time—back to those awkward, hilarious moments at school or at home with parents and friends like this one:

“Mom always says the best way to make new friends is to be yourself. But if I did that, I’d be friendless.” Greg, being brutally honest

It’s written in simple, relatable English, so it’s great for language learners. The cartoon-style illustrations add to the charm and make the experience even more enjoyable. I can never stop laughing and loving this book—both as a reader and as a teacher.

I hope you’ll enjoy reading it too.
