ご飯を残さんとこう！

Ciao！イタリア語講師のCristinaです！

イタリア語でこの表現があります。

「Il boccone della vergogna」

直訳すると、

  • 「boccone」＝「一口」
  • 「vergogna」＝「恥」

つまり、「恥の一口」という意味です。

自分が大食いの人だと思われないように残す最後の一口のことです。もう皆さんも分かったと思いますが、日本語にすると「遠慮の塊」になります。（本当は関西弁ですが（笑））

ですが、最近フードロスのことも考えて、ご飯を残す人に最後まで食べさせるために「Ma che hai lasciato? Il boccone della vergogna?」つまり、「何を残しているの？遠慮の塊？」ということが多い。

環境問題のことも考えて、遠慮の塊を残さず、美味しいご飯を最後まで食べましょう～
