If you’ve been following my book club, you know I’m always on the lookout for novels that spark deep thought, rich discussion, and emotional connection. Familiaris by David Wroblewski has captured my heart as one of my all-time favorites. Its intricate storytelling, complex characters, and thought-provoking themes make it a novel I return to again and again.

My review : This book is a masterpiece. It tells the story of John Sawtelle, his family, and their dogs, from the eaarly to mid-1900s. The writing is powerful and emotional—you will laugh, you will cry, and you will feel as if you truly know these people. The author’s style is as strong as the great classic writers of the and I believe this novel will become a modern classic. I have now read or listened to this story six times, and each time I discover new details and deeper meaning. The audiobook is also excellent, with a narrator who brings every character to life. Every reading feels like visiting old friends, and the ending always an emotional journey. For me this is one of the best books of all time, unforgettable and timeless.
