Learning Languages Through Stories
Hello!
I am a Japanese language teacher living in Japan.
I have always loved words and stories.
When I read a book, I often imagine the scenes in my mind—
the light through the trees, the quiet atmosphere of a place,
or the emotions of the characters.
Language has the power to create these small, beautiful moments.
Because of this love for words, I became a Japanese language teacher.
Now I teach at a Japanese language school in Japan,
and I also enjoy teaching students online.
My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and conversation-focused.
In my lessons, I hope students can experience languages
not only as something to study, but as something to enjoy.
Sometimes we read simple English stories together.
Sometimes we explore beautiful Japanese words such as komorebi
—the sunlight filtering through the leaves.
Through stories and conversation,
I hope we can discover the beauty of language together.
