Study Smart, Live Fully. Help to Finding Your Perfect Balance

今週のテーマ: 勉強と自由時間をバランスよく過ごす方法

Many students think they must choose: study hard or relax and enjoy life. But the truth is, you need both to succeed.

With 20 years of teaching experience across different countries, I have seen one important thing: students do best when they have balance. If you only study, you can feel tired and lose motivation. If you only relax, you may feel stressed later. The key is to find a healthy middle.

Start by setting small, clear goals. For example, study for 30–45 minutes, then take a short break. This helps your brain stay fresh. You will learn more in less time.

Next, plan your week. Choose specific times for study and specific times for rest. When you study, focus fully. When you relax, enjoy it without guilt. This is very important.

Also, choose activities you enjoy in your free time. You can watch a movie, go for a walk, cook, or even practice English in a fun way. Learning does not always have to feel like work.

In my lessons, I always encourage students to learn through real-life topics like food, travel, pets, and social media. This makes learning feel natural and enjoyable. When you enjoy learning, it becomes part of your life, not just something you “have to do.”

Finally, listen to yourself. If you feel tired, rest. If you feel motivated, study. Everyone is different, and your balance will be unique to you.

Remember: Success is not just about working hard, it’s about working smart and living well.
