My job is listening to your goals and knowing how to get you there from my years of experience. I will show you how to practice and what to practice in your custom individual lesson every week saving you tons of wasted time and frustration. 
I use a method I refer to as the KiSS Method (KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID, "stupid" referring to me) Knowing when to present what material in what order to students is an art that gives me great measure. It is what I do, that's my job.
