One day there was an unscheduled knock on the door. Two families had just flown into town from their home country where they had heard of my ukulele teaching. They wanted me to teach a 10 year old and an 11 year old how to play and sing songs with the ukulele in two weeks !!!!! I made a special course for them and we started the next day, two hours a day in studio, five days a week, do the homework everyday, if you miss a day we can not make our goal.
They came to every lesson on time, reached every daily goal at home practicing what they were shown.....in TWO weeks, they knew over twenty chords, strum different rhythms, fingerpick difficult arpeggio, read TABlature for ukulele which opened a world of future song material to select. They walked in as strangers and walked out two weeks later as musicians !
