Today, after finally getting my hands on a carafe, a dripper, a grinder, and some coffee beans—and reading up on the best brewing techniques in a book I bought in Japan—I brewed my very first hand-drip coffee right here in Italy!

I’m writing this post to share the excitement with everyone on Cafetalk and to express how grateful I am to have discovered Japan's wonderful drip coffee culture.
