Let’s review prepositions for getting around!
- Use “in” for small vehicles (cars, cabs, Ubers)
- Use “on” for buses, trains and planes
Vocabulary/expressions from this video:
“To get around” = to get from one place to another
Example: "It's easy getting around in this city because the transit system is amazing!"
"To keep one on one’s toes” = To keep someone guessing or to keep someone in anticipation
Example: "I never know what my son will say next - he really keeps me on my toes!"
