A movie I’d recommend for a cozy evening: Green Card

Are you a sucker for romance? I certainly am!

My favourite romantic movie in English is Green Card. It was made in 1990 and stars Andie MacDowell and Gerard Depardieu as a couple who are decidedly not in love. They get married to secure a green card and a beautiful apartment. They think they'll never see each other again. Unfortunately, the immigration department decides to investigate their case, and they have to pretend they've been in love all along. The trouble is, they hate each other's guts!

The film is an easy watch with some very funny moments, and best enjoyed with a cup of tea, under a cosy blanket!
