Feb. Setsubun (Bean scrattering: "Fortune in and demons out!",節分)
Mar. Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival,ひな祭り),Ohigan (Visits to the graves of ancestors,お彼岸)
Apr. Ohanami (Blossom Viewing,お花見)
May. Tango no sekku(端午の節句)、Haha no hi (Mother's day,母の日)
Jun. Chichi no hi(Father's day,父の日), Tsuyu(Rainy season,梅雨)
Jul. Tanabata (Star Festival,七夕), Doyo no ushi no hi(Eel boosts stamina in summer,土用の丑の日)
Aug. Natsumaturi (Summer festival,夏祭り), Hanabi Taikai(Fire works festival 花火大会), Obon (to honor the spirits of the dead,お盆)
Sep. Otsukimi(Moon viewing,お月見)、Ohigan (Visits to the graves of ancestors,お彼岸)
Oct. Halloween (ハロウィン)
Nov. Shichigosan(Childhood Milestones, 七五三)
Dec. Christmas (クリスマス)、Omisoka(New Year's Eve,大晦日)
