This course is for absolute beginners — those who have never studied Chinese, or tried a little but barely remember anything.
Many beginner classes follow a "Pinyin first, everything else later" approach. Not this one. My philosophy is simple: Pinyin, vocabulary, sentences, grammar, and real-world use — all together, from day one.
In every lesson, you'll learn:
- Pinyin & pronunciation: initials, finals, and tones — building correct habits from the start.
- Core vocabulary: 4-6 high-frequency, practical words you can use immediately.
- Simple sentences: from "你好" to "我喜欢喝茶" — you'll speak in complete sentences from your very first class.
- Basic grammar: not dry rule-memorizing, but absorbed naturally through real sentences — word order, question forms, 的/了/吗… you'll learn them by using them.
- Real-life application: greetings, self-introduction, asking prices, telling time — usable Chinese, right away.
