Curious about my lessons? Or maybe you just want to have a chat in Japanese and get to know me first?
You're very welcome!No preparation or materials are needed. We can speak entirely in Japanese, mix Japanese and English, and all levels are welcome.
This lesson is perfect for you if...
- You'd like to talk with me first and get a feel for what I'm like as a teacher
- You're interested in taking lessons but don't want to commit to a full lesson right away
- You're not sure which learning style or study method is right for you
- You simply want to practice speaking Japanese
- You'd like to hear a native Japanese speaker's opinion on a particular topic
What we'll do
We'll start with a simple self-introduction, and then we'll just talk!
You can ask me about my lessons, ask questions about Japanese, discuss a specific topic, share opinions, or simply have a casual conversation. You don't have to speak perfectly—just give it a try!
If you're not sure how you should study Japanese or which type of lesson would suit you, this is a great place to start. We can talk about it together and figure out what might work best for you.
Please note that we won't discuss political or religious topics, or topics that involve deeply personal matters.

This tutor's cancellation policy
This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”
If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.
The policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply to requests that are confirmed immediately.
Before request is confirmed (fixed)
- Cancellation possible at any time without charge.
After request is confirmed (fixed)
- Less than 6hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
- Between 6-12hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
- No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
