If a lesson is marked as Immediate Confirmation this means that the request status is set to "confirmed" instantly after the request is generated.
Since you don't need to wait for the tutor to manually confirm the lesson, you can skip the hassle of checking emails or the Cafetalk website before the lesson start time, allowing for a smoother booking process.
"Immediate Confirmation" eligible lessons are marked by a rocket symbol.
*"Immediate Confirmation" is turned on or off for individually for each lesson. Please note that even for the same tutor, some lessons may be eligible while others are not.
*"Immediate Confirmation" is only available for dates within the following 30 days. Even if a lesson is eligible for "Instant Confirmation" you cannot use this feature if the selected date is 31 or more days in the future.
With Immediate Confirmation you only need 2 steps!
- After selecting your desired date and time on the calendar*, please confirm the "Immediate Confirmation" message on the confirmation screen.
*If you manually select the date directly, the request is not eligible for Immediate Confirmation.
For lessons confirmed immediately, the tutor's cancellation policy concering cancellations prior to request confirmation does not apply.
Please only make "Immediate Confirmation" requests for dates/times where you are sure that you will be able to attend the lesson.
- Your request will be confirmed immediately after you send it off!
Please join the lesson at the scheduled time using the designated calling app.
Summary of Important Notes Regarding the "Immediate Confirmation" Feature
- Not all lessons are eligible for "Immediate Confirmation". Please check the icon for eligible lessons.
- Some tutors do not use the "Immediate Confirmation" feature.
- "Immediate Confirmation" is only available for desired dates within 30 days. It cannot be used for lessons 31 days or more in the future.
- Important: Since "Immediate Confirmation" lessons are confirmed immediately, the cancellation policy which applies to cancellation before the confirmation does not apply to these requests.
- Since "Immediate Confirmation" is automated, tutors may not respond to comments or questions that you sent along with your request booking. If you have questions or need confirmation before the lesson, please use the message feature.
- Please understand that tutors may cancel "Immediate Confirmed" lessons due to emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
- You can not make an "Immediate Confirmed" lesson request if you select the date directly/manually.
