This isn't a textbook English lesson. We'll pull real sports headlines, debate trade rumors, break down game highlights, and talk trash like fans at the bar. You'll learn the English people actually use — idioms, slang, and the rhythm of natural conversation — through the lens of American sports.
What we'll do:
• Read and discuss real sports news (NFL, NBA, MLB NHL — your pick)
• Practice expressing opinions: agree, disagree, argue your case
• Learn authentic sports idioms and casual speech patterns
• Debate hot topics: Is Jordan the GOAT? Should the Cowboys fire their coach?
This lesson is for you if:
• You already speak some English but want to sound more natural
• You follow American sports (any level — casual fan to die-hard)
• You're bored of "How was your weekend?"
Not for you if:
• You've never seen a football or basketball game
• You're looking for grammar drills or test prep
