* This class is good for all learners. Adults, children, beginners and experts are all welcome to take this class. It can be fully customized to fit your level/skills/interests*
Do you want to learn how to read and enjoy English-language language books? Perhaps you want to read in English but it takes too long and is too frustrating. Or maybe you have a favorite book and you would like to read it and discuss it with a native English speaker. These are just some of the reasons why people take this class.
In this class you will choose a book that you would like to read. It can be any book of any size/length/genre/etc. Then we will read the book together. As we are reading I will help you understand any words/sentences/phrases that you do not know.
reasons why some students choose to take this class:
- They want to start reading in English but don't have the time/energy/motivation to do it by themselves in their free time.
-They have to read a book for school and would like to make sure that they understand it 100%
- They want help reading/understanding school textbooks
- They have to do research for work/school
- Parents who want their children to learn to love reading in English
- They have a favorite book and want to read and discuss it in English
-They are part of a book club
- They want to challenge themselves to read something a little bit more difficult.
- Many other reasons.
In additon to books we can also read: academic reports/journals, poems, film and tv scripts, or any other written material that you would like to read.
This class will help you improve your vocabulary, pronunication, use of natural and/or technical English and helps you learn to enjoy and get the most out of reading in English.
