課程介紹
The key to gaining proficiency in English is constant or frequent practice. This lesson is will be customized to suit your need. We could cover:
Pronunciation practices: - Do you have a hard time pronouncing certain words? Are you often being asked to repeat what you said in English? Are you confused about how you say a certain word, phrase/expression or sentence?
Using dictation, video or audio source, shadowing and 'repeat after me', we will work on getting you to sound as clear and as native as possible.
Reading: - This is an integral part of learning any language. It helps to reinforce the foundations of what you already know and improve and expand on vocabulary, grammar, lexis, and expression. We could read a book, a newspaper or an article together. Reading is a great way to reduce your accent, enhance your vocabulary and improve your pronunciation.
Watching short videos: - Watching a video could be such fun! Tis lesson gives you a chance to receive a link and watch a short clip as many times as you want and then we'll talk about what you've seen.
Listening to audio recordings: - This is done for the purpose of shadowing (listening to native speakers and continually repeating what you have heard, while maintaining the same speed with the native speakers). Shadowing enhances fluency. We could also listen to the news or sing a song along.
Conversation: - Do you want to practice your English but are just starting at speaking English and have no (or very little) exposure to English conversations? Conversations not only improve your proficiency in the language but it can also be a powerful communication tool that can help you reach out to others and build good relationships.
You can either have structured lessons or the free conversation class. You decide on a topic from a provided list before the class. We can also use an article or picture to talk about.
