A. Small Talk
Teacher: Hello! Hello ! Hello! ( The teacher greets the student three times.She starts with a slow and low-voiced to a louder voice and to the loudest. )
Teacher: Wow! That was nice! ( Teacher praises the students with gestures.)
How are you today? Good job!
B. Warm-up
Teacher: Let' s start with a Hello song! Are you ready? Let' s sing and dance!
Teacher: Wow! Very good!
C. Introduction
( After the song, the teacher introduces the topic for today.)
Teacher: Today, we are going to study about “ Greetings ” , okay?
Teacher: Look at these pictures. Listen and repeat. (2x) Practice mispronounced words.
1. Hello!
2. Good morning!
3. Good afternoon!
4. Good evening!
5. Good night!
6. See you! Bye!
Teacher: Good job!
D. Practice:
Teacher: Now, look at teacher. ( Teacher shows gestures same with the pictures that she showed to the student. Like, waving and gesturing “Hello! ”, respectively.
Teacher: Look at me. What' s this? Nice!
( Teacher shows the picture again without the words written on them and let the student identify what kind of greeting is it. Guide the student when she can' t answer and practice once more.
E. Summary ( Looking back on what was learned in this lesson)
Teacher: Good job for today! Let us say it one last time. “ Hello!” , “ Good morning!, etc. ” Wow! High-five!
F. Closing
Teacher: It is the end of the lesson. Let us sing the “ Good bye song. ”
