In this unit, students will learn about famous people around the world. These people come from different times, countries, and jobs. Students will discover why they are important and what they did. They will also learn simple English words to talk about these people.

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

  • Say what "famous" means

     

  • Name 5–10 famous people from around the world

  • Describe a famous person in simple sentences (name, job, why famous)

  • Talk about their favorite famous person in a short presentation
