Lesson Introduction: Phrasal Verbs for Beginners
Welcome to today’s English lesson! Have you ever heard phrases like “wake up”, “turn on”, or “give up”? These are called phrasal verbs, and they are an important part of natural English.
A phrasal verb is a verb + preposition (or adverb) that together create a new meaning. For example:
