Lesson Pack Details

This is a 10-lesson pack. You will be issued 9 “coupons” when the first request is confirmed. You will be able to use these coupons for subsequent requests in the pack. Please note that all requests related to this pack must be taken within 90 days of the first lesson date.

Lessons should generally be booked chronologically, meaning that the second lesson should be booked after the first, and so on.

My name is KAYO, and I am a Japanese instructor here on Cafetalk. I have five years of experience teaching Japanese to a wide range of students online.

My lessons are casual and focus mainly on conversation. However, since I have experience working at several Japanese companies, I can also teach business Japanese and formal etiquette. You can learn natural expressions that are often different from what you find in textbooks. Upon request, I also provide JLPT preparation or we can read materials like picture books and novels together.

제 수업은 일상 회화 중심의 캐주얼한 분위기지만, 일본 기업에서 근무한 경험이 있어 비즈니스 일본어나 정중한 표현도 가르쳐 드릴 수 있습니다. 교과서와는 다른 실제 생활 속의 풍부한 표현들을 많이 배울 수 있어요. 또한, 희망하신다면 JLPT 대비나 그림책, 소설 낭독 수업도 가능합니다.

私の レッスンは 日常会話(にちじょうかいわ)が 中心(ちゅうしん)の カジュアルな スタイルですが、日本の 会社(かいしゃ)で 働(はたら)いた 経験(けいけん)を 活かし、ビジネス日本語(にほんご)や マナーも お教(おし)えできます。教科書(きょうかしょ)で は学(まな)べない 生(い)きた 表現(ひょうげん)を たくさん 身(み)に つける ことが できます。ご希望(きぼう)が あれば、JLPT対策(たいさく)や 絵本(えほん)・小説(しょうせつ)の 読(よ)み合わせ なども 可能(かのう)です。

Cafetalk's cancellation policy

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

Requests will be confirmed immdiately expect the first one of a pack. If confirmed immediately, the policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply.

About “Immediate Confirmation”

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
