Let’s take a trip — without leaving the classroom! 
This engaging, conversation-based lesson will help you talk confidently about places, hometowns, countries, and travel experiences using practical vocabulary and everyday grammar. Whether you're sharing where you're from, describing your favourite city, or telling a travel story, this lesson gives you the tools to express yourself naturally and fluently.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to describe your hometown and where you live

  • Vocabulary for cities, countries, weather, nature, and landmarks

  • Key grammar: There is/are, It’s located in, used to, and past simple for travel stories

  • Expressing likes, dislikes, and travel preferences

  • Asking and answering travel-related questions in conversation

Methodology:

My lessons are interactive, supportive, and student-focused, using a communicative approach that helps you use English in real-life situations. Here’s how we’ll work:

  • Visual prompts (maps, photos, short videos) to inspire natural discussion

  • Pair or solo speaking practice through questions and games

  • Vocabulary-building activities to make your descriptions more vivid

  • Short writing tasks (e.g. a postcard or a short description of a dream trip)
