课程介绍

TED Talks are short, interesting, educational talks given by a variety of people from different fields such as medicine, science, philosophy business etc.

Before the lesson, you can listen to the clip, and take down notes of anything you don't understand (You can feel free to choose a video of your choice if you wish) and let me know the times in the video during the lesson so that we can discuss e.g at 3:34 the speaker uses a phrase you do not understand. We can go through that during the lesson and we can also have general discussions related to the topics.

I can also provide exercises related to the videos and a transcript for better understanding.

I have been teaching people of all ages since almost 14 years now and I'm sure that I can help you learn and speak English fluently. Most of my students come from non English speaking backgrounds and with practice and effort, they are fluent speakers of the Language.

The tutor is very nice and polite. I really appreciated that she accepted my lesson request very quickly. Before the lesson, she asked me what type of video I was interested in. In fact, I had no preference about that. So she suggested me watching How great leaders inspire action by Simon Sinek. In the beginning of the lesson, we had a warm greeting and brief self-introduction. Then, she asked me some questions which related to the video for checking my understanding about the topic. After that, she taught me some UK slang and vocabulary in the script. I was very happy that she often encouraged me to express my opinion freely in English. I enjoyed the conversation very much. Thanks a lot.
