COURSE LEVEL: Beginner/Intermediate – Age 11 and Up
Course content will be tailored to Age group
(High School Students and Adult Learners welcome)
OVERVIEW:
- For this lesson, we will learn about casting shadows in perspective
- What is the difference between Shades and Shadows?
- Why are Shades and Shadows important?
Drawing is a learned skill, if you are willing, you can do it! Grab your pencil and paper and let’s have some fun.
COURSE DURATION: 60 Minutes
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
- Utilize your understanding of perspective principles and apply them in actual drawing.
- Work from Basic shapes up and compose a Scene.
- Learn when and how to use Shades and Shadows.
ART MATERIALS:
- Pencil (preferably HB)
- Pencil Eraser
- Sketchpad or a few pieces of Plain White Paper
- Ruler (optional)
- Pencil sharpener
