Description

This lesson is recommended for those who want to focus on English accents and those who want to be able to understand English as it is spoken in various countries!

 

There are two ways to proceed with this lesson:

 

Topic-based approach

While having a conversation about a specific topic, I listen to students' explanations and opinions, and provide feedback on your pronunciation based on this.

Request-based approach

I base my lessons on specific topics requested by students.

Whichever method you choose, I will send you your notes after the lesson.

 

Contents covered in the lesson:

 

    Articulation – The physical way in which speech is produced using the mouth and tongue.

    Voicing (voiced/unvoiced) – Difference between sounds that use vocal cords and sounds that do not.

    Intonation – the pitch and intonation of the voice when speaking

    Schwa sound – the most common vowel sound in English

    Suprasegmentals – overall characteristics of speech, such as stress, rhythm, and intonation

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
