課程介紹

(This is a lesson pack for 4 x Picture Description 101. Great for students who like to book ahead!)

When speaking a foreign language, accurate description is a very important skill to have, whether you're describing a person, telling a story, giving directions, explaining a situation, discussing a work of art, or even telling about your feelings. It's a very important element in communicating effectively in English. The more you practice, the more precise your description will become.

So let's describe! I will bring interesting, thought-provoking* images to class and send them to you via Skype. You will describe it in your own words as best you can, and I'll type what you say. Then we will go over your text together. We will fix grammar or syntax* errors and, most importantly, talk about word choice and natural expression... For example, maybe another adjective would have worked better in place of the one you used. Or maybe a sentence will be grammatically correct, but it doesn't sound natural to a native speaker. These are just a few examples of things we will improve in your description skills.

alli 쌤 진짜 인내심 있으시고 항상 상냥한 모습이셔서 즐겁게 수업 받고 있어요. 계속 지적 받는 부분에서 실수하고 틀리지만 회를 거듭할수록 self-correction 실력이 늘어나는 것 같아서 뿌듯해요. 꾸준히 하다 보면 정확한 문법, 자연스러운 표현으로 말할 수 있게 될 것 같아요.
