This is a great opportunity to have a native British speaker as a 'penpal'. This means we will exchange daily written messages, no video call required! 
 
All learners benefit from daily engagement with the language, and writing in English every day at your own pace, and in your own time, can help to keep you engaged and motivated. It is quicker and more convenient than scheduling a speaking class. But unlike a traditional 'diary', you will also receive a reply!
 
There are lots of reasons why you might want to take advantage of this opportunity, here are just a few:

  • Nervous about speaking English and want to build your confidence through writing?
  • Existing students who want to keep in daily contact between lessons
  • Improve your writing skills (grammar & vocabulary) naturally and gradually by reading replies from a native speaker
  • Just for fun!
  • To develop a relaxed relationship with a native British speaker

What can you expect? 
 
When you book this lesson I will produce a Google Doc for us to share our private written conversation. Over a 7 day period, you can write in the diary and I will reply daily. You are welcome to write as much or as little as you wish! My replies will be a similar length to yours (up to a maximum of approx 500 words per day). At the end of the 7 day period you will keep the document and if you wish to purchase the same lesson again in the future we can keep adding to the same document to continue the conversation or journal.
 

What sort of things can you write about? 
 
Anything! Yes, you can use the writing in whatever way you want. Tell me about your hobbies, your plans, your thoughts, write a story, share a recipe, ask my opinion...any topic is absolutely fine. 
 
**NOTE - no corrections will be given to your English language. If you wish to have corrections and suggestions then you are welcome to purchase one of my 'proofreading' services**

This tutor's cancellation policy

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

The policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply to requests that are confirmed immediately.

About “Immediate Confirmation”

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 1hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
