Goal: Practice discussing opinions on current events or short news stories.
Key Vocabulary: believe, think, agree, disagree, report, article, opinion
Grammar Focus: Complex sentences and linking phrases (because, although, however)

Lesson Outline:

  • Warm-up (5 min): Share a recent news headline or personal opinion

  • Discussion Activity (15–20 min): Express opinions, agree/disagree, support ideas

  • Wrap-up (5 min): Feedback on fluency and vocabulary, assign a short reflection task
