Description

Is your child learning English at school, but shy about actually speaking it out loud?

Grammar and writing are important, but true fluency comes from real conversation! In this fun, 30-minute online standby lesson, we take the exact themes and vocabulary your child is already studying in their Japanese school workbooks (We Can!, Let's Try!, or New Horizon) and bring them to life.

We leave the heavy grammar drilling to their school teachers. Instead, our goal is to build natural speaking flow, eliminate hesitation, and expand their vocabulary in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

What We Focus On:

  • Workbook Themes in Action: We chat about topics straight from their school curriculum—such as daily routines, school subjects, hobbies, weather, and food.
  • Building Real Flow: Helping students move past basic one-word answers ("Yes," "No," "Fine") into longer, more natural sentences.
  • Friendly "Upgraded Answers": When your child gives a basic answer, I gently introduce native expressions and vocabulary upgrades to make them sound like a natural speaker.

Lesson Flow (30 Minutes):

  1. Warm-Up Chat (5 mins): Low-pressure greetings, feelings, and weather check-ins just like their school lessons start.
  2. Core Workbook Topic (12 mins): Focusing on a specific everyday theme they recognize from school and practicing a back-and-forth dialogue.
  3. The "Say It in 3 Ways" Challenge (8 mins): Fun interactive practice adding reasons and emotions to keep the conversation going.
  4. Wrap-Up & Praise (5 mins): Celebrating their progress and reviewing key phrases.

Note for Parents: After the lesson, you will receive a detailed feedback sheet highlighting the new vocabulary and "upgraded phrases" your child practiced
