Tired of trying to figure out all those idioms and advanced vocabulary in American TV programs and movies? Want to know what they mean and how to practically use them in conversations? Want to learn more about American culture and discuss it in English?

This is a great class for intermediate and advanced students who are wanting to enhance their English speaking skills.
I use video clips from TV shows and movies, definition sheets, current American news articles,popular American songs, and two English books to talk and define American idioms and other advanced vocabulary and American culture

For example, I would send a movie clip and have the student watch and identify different vocabulary that he hears. We discuss the definitions, and I then use role plays to practice the idioms and any other vocabulary we've learned from that clip. The content is varied and I am always able to adjust the content to my student's English level!

This is also a fun class to learn how to discuss and analyze American culture, and learn more vocabulary on the way. Excited for you to join me soon!

It's a very useful lesson.

Plus, if you want to know exactly what the character says in the clip, Amy checks the part on the spot, and writes it down in the Skype chat box. ...

So you can review those parts when you watch the clip after the lesson, too. And Amy's explanations are easy to understand.
