Title: Fun with Animals: Learning English for Kids

Lesson Plan:

1. Introduction (5 minutes)
*Greet the child/ children warmly: ''Hello, little friends! Are you ready to have fun and learn English today?''
*Introduce the topic: ''Today, we're going to learn about animals! Who loves animals?''
*Show pictures of various animals and elicit responses from the child/ children. Encourage them to name the animals they see.
2. Animal Sounds (5 minutes)
*Play audio clips of animal sounds (e.g., cow mooing, dog barking, cat meowing).
*Ask the child/ children to imitate the sounds after you.
*Repeat the sounds together, emphasizing pronunciation.
3. Vocabulary Building (10 minutes)
*Introduce new animal vocabulary: lion, elephant, monkey, giraffe, etc.
*Use flashcards or pictures to illustrate each animal.
*Practice pronunciation: Say each word slowly and have the child/ children repeat after you.
*Encourage them to make sentences using the new words (e.g., ''The lion is big,'' ''The monkey likes bananas'').
4. Sing-Along (5 minutes)
*Teach a simple song about animals, such as ''Old MacDonald Had a Farm.''
*Sing the song together, using hand motions or animal puppets to make it interactive.
*Repeat the song a few times, gradually increasing the pace.
5. Wrap-Up (5 minutes)
*Review what we learned today: Ask questions like ''What sound does a cow make?''
*Provide positive reinforcement and praise for their participation.
*Encourage them to practice their new vocabulary at home with their families.
6. Bonus Activity: Animal Coloring (optional)
*If time permits, provide animal coloring sheets for the child/ children to color.
*While they color, continue to engage them in conversation about the animals they're coloring.

Remember to keep the lesson lively, interactive, and age-appropriate. Use lots of visuals, gestures, and positive reinforcement to keep the child/ children engaged and excited about learning English!

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
