How the lesson is conducted?
We will converse in text (using Skype text messages) for 30 minutes.
This is a no-audio and no-video lesson. So, during the lesson, there will be no camera or video, and there will be no speaking.
What will we 'text-chat' about?
If this is your first lesson, we will start by introducing ourselves to each other.
We will then move on to talk about a topic of your interest, or I will start by asking you questions. These questions may be about the work that you do, your hobbies, what you did yesterday, your goals in life, your travel plans, foods you enjoy, why you love learning English or even about the country where you live.
Should I be worried about my sentence structure, my grammar or my spelling?
I will provide you with corrections along the way.
You may also ask me questions if you're unsure about the way you've written a sentence or the way you've spelt a word.
Why is this lesson good for you?
Text-chatting takes place in a low-pressure environment.
For some students speaking in English might be hard at first , and so some students prefer to use text-chats to help with their language improvements.
Text-conversationa can also help you work on your writing style. If you are struggling with writing practice, this is one good way to practice ON THE GO and on a regular basis
If you're an introvert, text-chats might be a good way to engage in an English conversation and gradually improve.
