Struggling with English? This session will discuss your goals and difficulties in order to develop a strategy for you for language improvement and to subsequently customise an English lesson specifically to meet your requirements.

Description

This lesson is carried out as a consult or counsel class. 
You may use this class for the following purposes

1) To find out how to improve your English and to express your weak areas or challenges in order to establish some specific strategies to overcome it

2) To find out more about how to improve your band scores in IELTS /CELPIP/other English exams

3) To design or customise an English class for yourself in order to train yourself for a specific situation at work such as speaking at meetings, presenting for a school or work presentation, performing better at interviews

4) To discuss your difficulties and challenges in learning the language and establish ways to overcome them 


If there is no specific concern you wish to raise, then a general consultation class will cover the following areas on ways to improve your English :
Speaking and Writing 
Reading and Listening
Pronunciation and Oral Presentation 
Vocabulary and Grammar

You may choose to have a face-to-face conversation with me . For those who are video-shy, we can have an audio or text-chat conversation. 

For a more effective consultation, if you can, please describe or provide examples of some of your problems  in learning English.
You may do this  by writing to me in the Cafetalk message section when you make a lesson request. This will help meto find resource materials or links that could help you out.

(You will receive some notes from me that will provide you with various suggestions on how to improve yourself in the various skill areas and appropriate classes you can take to see yourself improve)

 

 

If you are undergoing medical treatment, recuperating from an illness, have been diagnosed with mental health issues, or if you are pregnant, please consult with a medical professional before taking a lesson.

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
