INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES (Words of Wisdom) .... Get truly inspired and develop your paraphrasing skills.
This class is based on discussing famous people and interpreting their inspirational quotes.
Intermediate/upper intermediate
课程介绍
The class will be based around a prepared exercise using the Skype slideshare facility. You will be requested to do the following;
1) Introduction: Match the names of several famous people to their picture.
2) Explain what you know about some of the people and why they are famous.
3) Match-up each person's famous quote to an appropriate paraphrased interpretation.
4) Adapt some of the quotes using your own alternative vocabulary.
5) Discuss how some of the qoutes could be appropriately applied to everyday situations and conversation.
