Lead in: Hello how are you? Good to see you. Today we will talk about pets. Do you have a pet? A pet is an animal friend we keep at home. We feed, we clean, we care for and we play with. What is your favourite animal?[Note down the student's favorite animal] Wow! Lovely, I love little dogs called poodles and lhasas. (5mins)

Look at the pictures. Do you know the name of the animal in picture 1? 2? 3? and 4? They are all pets. My favourite are parrots. A favourite is something you like the most. Which of these is your favourite? Now say "My favourite pet is _________[state the student's favourite]"(wait for student's response and commend). Do you know something special about pet 1? 2? 3? and 4? [10 mins]
Homework: Share more pictures and ask the students to learn the names of the animals and choose a favourite amongs the animals in the pictures, and tell you 1 special thing about their favourite.
