Lesson Breakdown
1. Warm-Up: Greetings (10 minutes)
Objective: Familiarize students with basic greetings.
- Activity: Greeting Practice
Begin the class by demonstrating common greetings (e.g., "Hello," "How are you?").
Have students pair up and practice greeting each other, using various greetings and responses (e.g., "I’m fine, thank you!").

2. Vocabulary Introduction: Basic Phrases (15 minutes)
Objective: Introduce essential vocabulary for everyday conversations.
- Activity: Vocabulary Flashcards
Use flashcards to introduce key phrases:- “What is your name?”
- “Where are you from?”
- “I am from…”
- “Nice to meet you.”
Exercise:
Have students repeat the phrases after you, ensuring correct pronunciation.

- Explain each phrase with examples and engage students in repetition.
3. Listening Activity: Simple Dialogue (10 minutes)
Objective: Improve listening comprehension of basic conversations.

Play a short audio clip of a simple dialogue using the phrases introduced.
After listening, ask students questions about the dialogue:- What is the person's name?
- Where is he/she from?
