Objective:
To introduce basic conversational skills in Russian to an English-speaking student at a beginner level.Lesson Plan:
1. Introduction (5 minutes):
- Greet the student and introduce the topic of the lesson: basic conversational skills.
- Explain the importance of learning to communicate in simple Russian phrases for everyday interactions.
2. Vocabulary Introduction (10 minutes):
- Introduce basic vocabulary related to greetings, introductions, and common expressions used in everyday conversations.
- Provide examples of sentences using the new vocabulary.
- Practice pronunciation of each word and phrase with the student.
3. Role-playing Exercises (15 minutes):
- Conduct role-playing exercises to simulate real-life conversations:
- Greetings and introductions: Role-play scenarios where the student practices greeting someone and introducing themselves in Russian.
- Asking and answering simple questions: Role-play situations where the student asks and answers basic questions about themselves, such as their name, age, and nationality.
4. Interactive Conversation Practice (10 minutes):
- Engage in a simulated conversation with the student, using the vocabulary and phrases introduced earlier.
- Guide the conversation and provide prompts to help the student respond appropriately.
- Encourage the student to ask questions and participate actively in the conversation.
5. Conclusion and Homework (5 minutes):
- Summarize the key points covered in the lesson.
- Assign the student homework to practice basic conversational skills by having a short dialogue with a friend or family member.
- Thank the student for their participation and conclude the lesson.

- If time allows, invite the student to provide feedback on the lesson content, exercises, and overall experience.
