Description
Title: Polite Assertiveness in Meetings
Subtitle: How to speak up, disagree, and clarify with confidence
Who is this for?
Intermediate to Advanced learners who find it difficult to jump into fast-paced English discussions or feel they are "too quiet" in global meetings.
What you will learn:
We focus on "Signposting"—using specific phrases to signal you are about to speak. You’ll practice the "Buffer Technique" to disagree without being confrontational.
Key "Power Phrases":
* "If I may just jump in here for a second..." (The Interruptor)
* "To make sure I’m on the same page, are you saying...?" (The Clarifier)
* "I see your point, however, I’m concerned about..." (The Soft Disagree)
The Result: You will no longer be a "silent participant." You will have the tools to ensure your expertise is heard and respected.
