Description

Recommended age group: 10 years old and above (teens and adults will especially enjoy the puzzle aspect)

Scariness Level: 1 (light, fun, no real horror)

Learning Goals:
- strengthen listening comprehension
- build confidence in speaking and storytelling
- expand vocabulary related to mystery and supernatural themes.
- practice creative thinking in English

Lesson Description:
In this interactive lesson, we will enjoy a series of interactive sessions using ghost-themed riddles and storytelling challenges.  Together, we'll watch the video, pause, solve it, practice English listening and speaking, and explore spooky vocabulary in a safe, lighthearted way.

Lesson Breakdown:
Lesson 1 - Ghostbuster Riddles Challenge. Watch and solve riddles from The Bright Side video. Practice listening and speaking.
Lesson 2 - This Village is Haunted. Explore new ghost-themed riddles and mini mysteries. We will work together to solve puzzles and you may also share your own "mini scary tales."
Lesson 3 - Create Your Own Ghost Riddle. Invent your own ghost riddles.  Wrap up with a "Ghostbuster Badge".

This tutor's cancellation policy

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

Requests will be confirmed immdiately expect the first one of a pack. If confirmed immediately, the policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply.

About “Immediate Confirmation”

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 1hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
