Shalom! Shalom means hello in Hebrew, but it also means "peace." Hebrew has it's own special alphabet, so 'shalom' looks like this:

In Hebrew, you read from right to left. It's kind of like when you are reading vertically in Japanese, you start from the right side of the page, go down and then up and towards the left.
Let's learn basic Hebrew. Maybe you want to travel to Israel and learn some specific phrases. Maybe you want to study the Bible. Or perhaps you want to learn how to make delicious Mediterranian dishes! All are welcome.
I can explain in English or Japanese.
