Would you like to be better able to understand and discuss things in the news, about what NASA, JAXA and the other space agencies are doing today? Learning the terms for common things, as well as root words, can help you understand new words in context. When you have a better understanding of how the word "astro" relates to "star", the words "astronomy" and "astronaut" are easier to understand.
This lesson is aimed at adult students.
I will start by spending a short time checking your familiarity with a few words to gauge which vocabulary will be best to focus on. I will explain how different words are related to each other and we can practice guessing and learning the meaning of words in context. Feel free to reach out and let me know if there is a certain space story or topic you would like to focus on.
