Listen to some Spanish music!
Description
Whether your favorite genre is salsa, rock, or pop, listening to Spanish music is a fantastic way to memorize new words and learn the language. Through actively listening, you can pick up new words and phrases, hear how they are used with the context of the song, and listen to how the language generally functions and sounds overall.
The purpose of the lesson is this:
- Improve listening skills.
- Vocabulary acquisition.
- Discuss the emotions conveyed, and any cultural references that might be unfamiliar to you.
- Break down challenging vocabulary or idiomatic expressions.
- Discuss the context in which words or phrases are used.
This activity not only enhances language learning but also introduces you to cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries through music.
- I am very flexible, so you can choose the song you want to practice.
- The camera can be turned off.
- All levels are welcome!
