Unit 1 - Writing Workshop - Mastering Hyperbole
Want to make your writing more vivid and engaging? Join this 60-minute writing workshop focused on a powerful tool used in both academic and professional writing: hyperbole.
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to use exaggerated and expressive language to describe people, places, and events in a way that captures your reader’s attention.
Here’s what to expect:

Read and analyze an example text

Learn how hyperbole works and where it's most effective

Practice writing creative and impactful sentences using hyperbole
At the end of the session, you'll also have the optional opportunity to complete a realistic writing task at home. You’ll receive detailed feedback from a native English speaker to help you improve even more.
This class is perfect for advanced learners who want to sharpen their writing skills and add more personality to their English.
Primary Focus: Writing
Secondary Focus: Reading
- This is a C1/C2 or Advanced Course
- It is recommended, but not required, to have completed Unit 1 Lesson Set 1 and Lesson 2 prior to this class.
- A level evaluation using my Free Talk class is also acceptable if the Lesson Sets have not been completed.
- This course uses Cambridge and Oxford course material (Primarily Roadmaps).
- No textbook is required for this course and all materials will be provided.
- Upon completing each lesson, the student will be sent a copy of the lesson (pdf), an audio file for further practice, and any feedback notes from the lesson.
