🔹 1. Warm-Up Discussion (3–4 minutes)
Question: “Are pets family members or just animals?”
Ask students to respond with:
"I think pets are family because..."
"In my opinion, pets are just animals because..."
Follow-up Questions:
Do you have a pet?
What kind of pet would you like to have? Why?
🔹 2. Vocabulary Builder (3–4 minutes)
Introduce 6–8 useful or topic-specific words/phrases:

4. Do pets improve mental health? How?
5. Do animals have emotions? Give examples.

Small groups discuss for 3 minutes and then share ideas in the main room.
🧠 Alternative: Use Jamboard or a shared Google Doc to collect ideas as a class.
