Подробности урока
このレッスンでは、対話を読みながら、その中に自然に使われている実用的なイディオムを学びます。どうしてそのような意味になるか、背景などを分かりやすく説明するので、簡単に覚えられると思います。また、対話を通して、発音やイントネーションも改善させましょう!
In this lesson, we'll read a dialogue and learn practical American idioms used naturally in it. I'll explain why a certain idiom means this and that and the background of them too, which sure makes it easier to memorize them. You will be surprised how easy it is to familiarize yourself with the expressions. Your pronunciation and natural intonation will also be improved in this lesson!

Here's a sample of what you can see in the material:
1. SMELL A RAT
A: How come the front door is open? Didn't you close it before we went shopping?
B: I'm sure I did. I can't understand it. Frankly, I smell a rat.
A: Me, too. I'm convinced that something is definitely wrong here. We'd better call the police.
2.. STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSE’S MOUTH
A: How did you find out that Jill was engaged?
B: I got the information from a very reliable source.
A: You mean Jill told you so herself?
B: That's right. I got it straight from the horse's mouth!
