You’ve studied English before, but when it’s time to speak, the words just don’t come out?

This lesson is for beginner to intermediate learners who want to speak English more naturally and confidently.

I lived in the United States for about 15 years and have been exposed to the English people actually use in daily life, school, and work.

Rather than simply memorizing textbook expressions, this lesson focuses on one important question:

“How would people actually say this in real conversation?”

For example, a sentence may be grammatically correct, but there may be a more natural way to say it depending on the situation. During our conversation, I’ll help you notice those differences and introduce more natural expressions, pronunciation, and intonation.

This lesson is recommended for learners who:

  • Understand basic English but feel nervous when speaking
  • Translate from Japanese in their head before speaking
  • Want to learn more natural expressions
  • Want to improve pronunciation and intonation
  • Want to feel more confident talking with English speakers
  • Want to learn English that is actually used in the U.S.

Lesson flow

  1. Choose a topic you’d like to talk about
  2. Have a conversation in English
  3. I’ll support you with expressions, grammar, and pronunciation when needed
  4. Learn more natural ways to express yourself
  5. Review useful expressions from the lesson

  • American culture
  • Daily life

Mistakes are completely okay.

If there is something you don’t understand, I can also explain it in Japanese.
