【Is Japanese a subject that requires ‘good taste’?】
No it is not. In fact, Kokugo (Japanese language) is a very logical subject.
Therefore, if you approach it in the right order, anyone can derive correct answers, and anyone can write logical and persuasive sentences.
Anyone can be good at Japanese! It doesn’t matter if you are a science-major or not! Perhaps it is the science-majors who are better at it because it is a logic-based subject?!

Reading Comprehension ▶︎ The way to read an expository text differs greatly from a narrative text. By understanding the rules of each style and practicing reading them, you will be able to confidently and correctly read any text that comes your way.
Composition ▶︎ If you follow the basic steps and continue practicing, you will gain confidence in your ability to write any type of topic, and I am sure you will end up loving writing sentences.
In both cases, I will teach you the secret (but very simple!) rules to help solve such questions, and stick with you until you acquire them. I teach these rules not by making you memorize them, but by repeating and actually practicing them over and over again so that you can learn them in a natural and effortless way.
Reading and writing documents are acts that will be repeated thousands and thousands of times over the course of our long lives. These are not mere passive activities, but they are directly related to the ability to interact with others (→ presentations, letters, and so on), solve problems (→ analysis, organizing feelings or issues, and so on), as well as gathering information (→ reading, ing and choosing articles, output, and so on), which is an extremely important skill for everyday life.
I hope my students will excel at this while they are still young, and become adults who can read and write fluently and effectively.
