Does your child love playing Minecraft on their phone or tablet? Instead of fighting over screen time, let’s turn it into an amazing, fully immersive language learning experience!
In this fun, high-energy lesson, I will team up with your child inside Minecraft Bedrock (Mobile) to practice English or French naturally while we play. No boring grammar sheets—just real-time, exciting communication driven by creativity and teamwork!
How We Learn Through Minecraft:
- Real-Time Action Commands: Practicing direction and movement verbs ("Dig here," "Look behind you," "Follow me!").
- Creative Vocabulary: Learning the names of materials, colors, animals, and tools ("Wood," "Iron pickaxe," "Green concrete").
- Teamwork & Strategy: Planning what to build, sharing resources, and cooperating in survival or creative mode entirely in the target language.
- Post-Game Chat: Reviewing what we accomplished using the past tense ("Today, we built a beautiful house," "We found three diamonds!").
Message for Parents:
I offer a safe, warm, and highly encouraging environment. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already has a good foundation, I adapt my speaking speed and vocabulary to match their level perfectly, boosting their confidence with every block we place.
Requirements:
- A smartphone or tablet with Minecraft (Bedrock Edition).
- A free Microsoft/Xbox Live account so we can add each other as friends and join the same world.
- Please message me your child's Minecraft Gamertag and chosen language (English or French) when booking!
