课程介绍
Would you like to expand your vocabulary and learn to apply grammar accurately so you can speak confidently and competently? Would you like to do this whilst on a virtual culinary tour of the UK and beyond?
Whether you’re a budding chef, passionate epicure or simply seeking conversational practice this class is sure to help you hone your English skills. We will use a range of materials including menus and magazine articles on food in this topic-based vocabulary and speaking class.
Students who would like writing projects as part of this course are welcome to discuss their requirements with me.
Aims
For the student to express opinions, share experiences and exchange information whilst studying and reacting to menus, newspaper articles, restaurant reviews, and food and drink websites.

Fluency and accuracy when speaking; vocabulary
Level
(Strong) Intermediate; Upper-Intermediate; Advanced; Proficient
NB
New vocabulary will not be exclusively about food and drink, there will be other vocabulary too! Each lesson will be at a comfortable pace with no pressure to finish a menu or article within the 50 minutes - the emphasis is on you enjoying yourself and getting plenty of speaking practice.
